I buy a broad range of makeup, with varying price ranges. I am always a skeptic when someone uses the adjective, “cheap” as a description for something. A beauty expert working at Ulta raved about BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Delux palette. She then told me that not only does the palette have shadows, but it has six highlighting colors too! Nice try lady, I’m not buying what you’re selling. So what do I do next?
I buy it anyway.
Is the BH cosmetics palette all its cracked up to be? Based on my photos, what do you think? For a $22 palette with more than just shadows, I think it is great! The colors have great pigment, blend well and I love the highlight colors. The Carli Bybel palette has great everyday shadows, and I love the matte and shimmer color combo. All in all, I think it was a solid buy!
Here are my shadow deets:
Crease: I used the third color on the top row, (for some reason the colors don’t have names, I guess that’s part of the $22 deal. Ha)!
Lid: I used the second shimmer color on the top row, and then used the fourth shimmer color on the top row on the second half of my lid to add a little dimension.
I went back in with the crease color and blended out from the outer corner.
Highlight: I used the deep bronze highlight on my cheeks, temple and bridge of my nose.
THERE YA HAVE IT! That was all I used on my eyes besides an eyeliner to create my beautiful, soft look!
